One Piece’s Weevil or Whitebeard Jr. gets a new look thanks to this stunning cosplay that is gender swapped by a Straw Hat Pirates superfan.

This cosplay captures the essence’s Weevil and gives him the most amazing gender-neutral appearance.
Cosplayer Kappy_w recently posted on Reddit to share her unique portrayal of Edward Weevil, the self-proclaimed son of the Strongest Man in the World, Edward “Whitebeard” Newgate. Kappy’s cosplay of a creative character features overalls that are secured by chains and Weevil’s personal Jolly Roger across the front. She also uses a large blonde wig for a more organized and maintained version of Weevil’s bushy flowing hair. The iconic features of Weevil’s look are also made visible through makeup, such as his scars and nose-plaster.

There was a great deal of support in the comments about her reinterpretation of the character. One commenter pointed out her work on her teeth by stating “the teeth are a wonderful feature,” with another calling attention to the makeup she used, “awesome job with the marks.” Also, there were a few reactions that noted the rareness of cosplaying Weevil in the first place, with one Reddit user saying, “I don’t think I’ve seen a Weevil cosplay before. You’re very well-deserved.” There are numerous other comments of praise and comments section.
Change the look of Weevil
Kappy took to the comments to voice her opinions. The biggest change was Weevil’s mustache that she fashioned into eyebrows. “Before anyone asks where’s the mustache, I transform it into eyebrows, and voila.” In addition to the post, Kappy provided a link to her Instagram page (@kappy_w) with an article that showcases the amazing costume, along with more photos, as well as photos of her process for makeup. The page also has more One Piece cosplays, such as Sanji, Chopper, and Pappag, and other non-One Piece characters such as Emily of Corpse Bride and Inouske from Demon Slayer.
