Who is responsible for TMNT Mutant Mayhem
Seth Rogen will be producing the new animated feature with his long-time producer and writing partner, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver. Spears and Rowe, however, are relatively new directors, the former having only directed the animated feature The Mitchells vs the Machines on which he served as a storyboard artist. They worked together on Mutant Mayhem from a screenplay by Brendan O’Brien scribe.
Many fans took to social media to praise mutant Mayhem’s first trailer. They praised the art style and character designs as well as the authenticity of their teenage portrayals of the half-shell hero. Others are questioning the absence of Casey Jones (fan-favorite vigilante) who is not currently on the official cast list. This is especially noteworthy considering that the film’s cast list appears to reflect a deep dive into the franchise’s history. Official comments have not been made by any of the people involved in the project about whether or not the character will be appearing.
Fans can enjoy the Turtle clan’s return to the big screen when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem hits theaters on August 4.
