Okunen Anime was established in 2000 as a small web site dealing mainly in the favorite series' of the webmistress. The web site keeps growing and hosts a number of anime series, over 49,000 gallery pics, and much more to come!

The Japanese word "okunen" means "something one always remembers"...and that's my ultimate goal. I want to provide you with up to date info, pics and media on all the anime and manga you can handle!

I think it's important to know who you're dealing with. So here's a few facts about each of us:

Kaiya:

+ Blood Type: AB-
+ Day and night, develops websites while holding knees in a chair.
+ Currently watching: Prince of Tennis (again); Nabari no Ou, Bartender, Vampire Knight
+ Kaiya in Japanese means "forgiveness"
+ I am an aspiring mangaka...scary, I know
+ The word "otaku" in my case means "obsessive"
+ Currently in college. My major is Asian History and my minor is Japanese!
+ My goal's are to do voiceovers for anime and speak Japanese fluently
+ My favorite English voice actors are Vic Mignogna, Jerry Jewell, Dan Green, Richard Cox, Johnny Yong Bosch, Lex Lang
+ I talk to my cats Hatsuharu, Linksys, Puffball & Baird. Sometimes they talk back, but I have no idea what to answer...
+ My dog's name is Fenix (named after Marcus from Gears of War) and I have 2 fish (Bubbles & Screwball) and 2 snails (Poopypants & Lord Weller). XD
+ Favorite movies: Death Note, Transformers and Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children
+ Favorite Color: PURPLE!
+ Favorite Food: Asian...I Love Unagi! Yum!
